Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 6, 2026
The short version: We collect only what we need to run the product. We do not sell your data. We do not sell candidate data. You control what you put in and you can ask us to delete it at any time. Everything below explains the details.
What we collect

- ✓ Your name and email address when you sign up
- ✓ Payment information processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers.
- ✓ Account activity such as kits created, hires initiated, and plan status
- ✓ Candidate names entered into Evidence-Based Verdict™ for the purpose of generating a hiring recommendation
- ✓ Standard technical data such as browser type, IP address, and pages visited, collected automatically when you use the platform
We do not collect resumes, social security numbers, government-issued ID, financial records, or any sensitive personal information about candidates beyond their name as entered by you.
How we use it
We use the information we collect for the following purposes only:
- ✓ To create and manage your account

- ✓ To process your subscription or one-time purchase through our payment provider
- ✓ To send you product updates, receipts, and support communications
- ✓ To improve the product based on aggregate, anonymized usage patterns
We do not use your data or your candidates' names for advertising, profiling, or any purpose outside of delivering the service you signed up for.
Candidate data
When you use Evidence-Based Verdict™, you may enter the name of a candidate as part of generating a hiring recommendation. We want to be clear about how that data is handled.
- ✓ Candidate names are used solely to generate and display your Verdict report
- ✓ We do not build profiles on candidates
- ✓ We do not share candidate names with third parties for any purpose
- ✓ Candidate names are stored only as long as your account is active or until you delete them
Your responsibility as an employer: When you enter candidate information into InterviewKits, you are responsible for ensuring you have the appropriate basis to do so under applicable privacy law in your jurisdiction. We recommend informing candidates that their name may be used in a structured hiring process tool as part of your standard candidate communications.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We do not sell candidate data. Full stop.
We share data only with the following categories of service providers, and only to the extent necessary to operate the platform:

All third-party providers we work with are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the purpose we engaged them for. We do not authorize them to use your data for their own purposes.
We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or a regulatory authority in the United States or Canada. We will notify you when legally permitted to do so.
How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.
Candidate names entered into Evidence-Based Verdict™ are deleted when you delete the associated hire record, or when your account is closed, whichever comes first.
